As we had never owned a dog before, we were real novices when it came to looking for breeders. After contacting a few breeders, (who looking back were obviously only interested in making money), by sheer luck I found Kericrest on the internet. - Thank goodness we did!!
Keri responded really quickly to our enquiry 'looking for a Maltese puppy'. We live in Scotland, quite far from where Kericrest is based, so before even deciding to take a puppy Keri called us and we chatted about Maltese, having a pup that was right for us and generally making sure it was the right decision for us and the puppy.
We quickly new we had found the perfect breeder for us. One who had the dog's interest at the fore front!!!
We paid a deposit to secure our puppy and had to wait almost 8 weeks until we could bring him home, as Keri keeps the pups with their mother and other dogs until 12 weeks to ensure they are socialised and at the healthiest developmental age for the pup to leave their mother. During the time from securing the pup until picking him up Keri provided updates on his progress, pictures and videos and answered any questions we had.
We picked 'Monty' up from Keri's home in January 2012. We were able to meet the mother and see how Monty had been living and socialising - which is the sign of a very good and responsible breeder. Keri provided all the paper work to show Monty's pedigree and gave grooming and feeding guidance too. When taking Monty home we had a starter pack with food, information documents, his favourite toy and a wee dog that couldn't have had a better start in life!!
Keri had started Monty toilet training and the basics of walking on a lead - so when he came home it made settling in and going for walks much smoother (especially as we hadn't had a dog before)
From our first contact, back in December 2011, Keri was nothing but helpful and enthusiastic about her dogs. We have had Monty with us for over a year and a half now and can honestly say we couldn't imagine our home without him in it. I am so grateful we found Kericrest and would recommend anyone looking for a responsible breeder with the dogs interested firmly at heart; you will not find a better breeder than Keri.

As a first time dog owner we found the experience of buying a puppy from Keri second to none. Her help and support throughout the process was invaluable - she helped us every step of the way and was in constant communication throughout - from before the puppy was even born till afterwards. She welcomed our questions and always gave prompt details responses. Keri provided us with invaluable information, advice, puppy pack - she even bought a book for my daughter all about the puppy. Upon picking the puppy up Keri had provided us with everything we needed from food to brushes. The puppy was in perfect condition; socialised, clean, groomed, nails trimmed, dewormed & no fleas etc. She showed us how to groom the puppy and gave us even more invaluable advice. Keri even registered us with starter insurance and had the puppy pedigree registered in our name. I would recommend Keri without hesitation - perfect in every way, just like our new puppy :-)

We had decided that we were going to look for a Yorkshire terrier puppy. After looking at some breeders online, we contacted Keri as she looked like a responsible and caring breeder and we were not disappointed.
We spoke to Keri on the phone and discussed the puppies. She answered all questions we had as well as openly explaining the high expectations she had for perspective homes for her puppies. We knew instantly that Keri was the right breeder for us even before we met her. The evident care for her dogs and puppies, and her expertise with regards to the breed gave us instant confidence in her, and in the health and quality of her puppies. When we visited Keri for the first time, I was extremely impressed with how the dogs (her family pets) and the puppies were living and how they were treated. They were all spotlessly clean and happy and friendly dogs, a good sign of a responsible and loving owner.
Keri is not a breeder who just lets you browse the puppies like a pet shop, she spoke to us first and ensured we had sanitised out hands to prevent any chance of infection to the puppies. Keri asked us questions and we asked her many, to which we came to a mutual decision that she was the right breeder for us and that she was happy with is a perspective parents to her very special puppies.
Then she brought out the puppy which we were considering for our family.
The puppy was happy, confident and evidently healthy. All good signs for us that Keri was doing her job absolutely perfectly and it was obvious that Keri adored each and every one of her puppies.
Keri kept Millie (our puppy) with her until 12 weeks old to ensure that she was socialised, health checked and fully vaccinated. When we brought Millie home, that extra 4 weeks that she stayed with Keri made an unbelievable difference. She came home as a confident and happy puppy ready to play and explore her new home. Keri had also spent time teaching Millie her name.
Millie came with a HUGE puppy pack including dried, fresh (chicken breast, mince, cheese and ham) food, high quality wet dog food in pouches, a brush, comb, shampoo, detangling spray, toys, chews, information, her pedigree, collar, pooh bags and much more (it wS nearly a bin liner full of stuff for her!). She also had 2 documented vet checks, both of her vaccinations, was microchipped and Keri showed us how to bath and groom Millie properly.
Even now, a month later, Keri is still there to answer any questions I have, whatever day or time, and Keri contacts me at least once every week to check if Millie is ok and if I need anything.
After having puppies from irresponsible breeders in the past, this is the first time we have found a breeder who we can honestly say loves her dogs, cares about their lives, health and futures and at the same time is warm friendly and helpful. Her expertise and love for her dogs has had an enormous impact on the development of our puppy and the refound trust we have in (at least one) breeder. I would never buy a puppy from anywhere else.

We have recently purchased two beautiful Maltese puppies from Kericrest in North Yorkshire.
We are writing this so other people know there are top class breeders still available in England and Kericrest is at the very top in our opinion and this is our story of how we purchased our puppies.
For many years my husband and I researched to find the Maltese puppies with not much luck, until one day my Son suggested I get an iPad, of which I never knew how to use, I learnt the basics and ended up looking for breeders of Maltese, I emailed several of which no one answered, I thought I was doing something wrong and then to my surprise
Kericrest answered, she said watch this space, I might have puppies in few months time, I could not believe my luck.
Kericrest had a litter of puppies the mother was called Lilly, she had 3 boys and 1 girl,three days later another one
of Kericrest Maltese, called Grace had 3 puppies, 2 boys and 1 girl, Lilly and
Grace are mother and daughter.
Kericrest showed me on my iPad Graces little girl she was only just born. I begged her to let me have her, and from that moment my darling little Tilly was mine.
Kericrest, from that moment sent me video clips, and photos most days of Tilly growing up, I felt I was there each day with my Tilly getting bigger, till I could pick her up when she was 12 weeks old.
I would like to add that Kericrest vaccinated and microchip all their puppies.
During all this time whenever or whatever Kericrest did for Tilly, such as bathing,grooming etc, she would always video it for me.
I asked Kericrest if I could see all the puppies from both litters, it was then I caught sight of the other little bitch, I
asked Kericrest if the little bitch had been sold, she said not at the moment, so I ask her would it be possible for me tohave her aswell as TIlly and to my surprise she said yes, then from that moment I was the very proud owner of two
beautiful Maltese puppies,the second one I called Buttons.
This breeder,Kericrest prepared me and my puppies. When I picked them up at 12 weeks, old she showed me how tobath and dry and groom them both,also to keep them from getting stained around the eyes.
They were already lead and toilet trained she had prepared me with a big box of items, to take home with me this included leads,collars, brush, combs,stain remover,full bag of puppy dry food, wet food, rawhide chews,biscuits, blankets, travel water bottles, pedigree papers,and puppy insurance also a typed schedule of when the puppies would need worming,vaccinations, helping you with their feeds,and that Kericrest would be available 24 /7 when ever the need to ask any questions about my beautiful puppies.
Before I close I would like to mention that I also have a British Bulldog she is called Beau, she is 12 years old, and from the moment she first saw the puppies she loved them,and now we are just one big happy family thanks to Kericrest.

After an introduction to Kericrest and the lovely lady Keri behind the name, we were very excited to meet in his own environment with his siblings and extended family, the incredible puppy who we immediately fell in love with.
Keri was fantastic with ensuring we were comfortable after initial reticence as we already had a Boston Terrier but with her guidance and stewardship we found the introduction very simple and seemless.
The boys are now totally inseparable and if anything Ulysses calls the shots and bullies us all!!
Keri ensured that the new member of the family was well trained, confident, well behaved and highly integrated into a home environment. I've had a dog as a member of the family for many years, this time it seemed so simple and easy to go from aspiration to acquisition and integration into our home!

We recently found out that Ulysses had become an uncle and immediate thoughts were could we cope with another family member?! A dog changes your life for the better but requires as much (if not more) love, attention and time as a child. Never buy a pet on a whim, Keri vetted us with almost meticulous detail and ensured we were fit parents.

After some googling I stumbled upon Keri Stoner and I'm so pleased I did.
Keri helped to complete our family by letting us take home Beano, our beautiful Maltese boy who's just turned 3. (Keri actually texted him a happy birthday on the big day!)
From our very first phone conversation to collection day I found Keri to be really helpful and patient, answering my numerous questions and queries.
Keri is clearly passionate about her dogs but isn't some slightly potty, eccentric breeder - she is also nice to humans too, giving advise and sharing words of wisdom about a breed she clearly knows a lot about.
Her years of experience in both breeding and showing Maltese is evident in the dogs she produces - Beano was a well socialised, much loved little pup when we picked him up and has blossomed into a fantastic pet.
He's friendly, sweet, beautifully behaved, extremely affectionate, calm when necessary yet loads of fun. He has slotted in with the family brilliantly and is basically the best little boy ever.
We're so grateful to Keri for bringing Beano into our lives and for all her help and support in the early days. I cannot recommend her services highly enough.

Buying my little Coco from Keri has been the best thing I have ever done, not only was he bred exactly how she described, I was after a small pup which would remain a toy size when older and Coco has been the cutest, smallest dog I have ever seen! Needless to say her prices are also the best in the country by far!
Being my first pet, she has been there for me countless of times after whenever I had queries and believe me I have had many being a first time owner! Her lifetime aftercare is a godsend! She has been more helpful than a vet and she is the most genuinely caring and loving person when it comes to pets!

It had been many years since I'd owned a dog, and I'd never raised a puppy before. I was determined to give our new family member the very best start. So, after months of careful planning, I finally found Keri, and I'm so glad I did!
Knowledgeable, professional, experienced, and approachable, Keri ticks all the boxes. No question was too silly (and I asked ALOT of questions!). Keri's passion to breed for health and good temperament shines through, not only in her dogs' condition and characters, but also verified with vets papers showing health testing for
pups, and pup-parents alike. Fully vaccinated, wormed, and microchipped, Keri really ensures you and your pup start off on the right foot. This also includes a generous puppy pack on rehoming day, with food, treats, toys, 1 months free pet insurance, and a folder full of official documents, tips and advice.
If all that isn't enough, I was impressed with Keri's support well after I brought my pup home. Encouraged to stay in touch, I inevitably had questions, especially in the first few days/weeks. Anything from feeding questions, to toilet training advice, Keri always replied promptly, or even called to offer advice when asked. She was always very helpful and lovely with it too.
Our beautiful Boston boy brought us so much joy, so-much-so that 18 months later we returned to Keri for Boston puppy number 2! Keri guided us with choosing a good match for us, and our first Boston. Plus helped us introduce both dogs with the minimum of fuss. Our bouncing Boston's are now perfectly bonded and our little family is complete.
We get compliments on their fine breeding, and lovely temperaments everywhere we go, which fills me with pride. I highly recommend Keri to everyone without hesitation.

I had considered getting a Boston Terrier pup for quite a while and looked at many breeders online and fortunately came upon Kericrest who had pups available at the time.
I contacted Keri and she informed me there was just one male left, we discussed the breed and I was asked various questions in relation to being suitable for the upbringing of one of her pups. I was invited to go view him and was not disappointed, he is absolutely beautiful.
Keri answered all the questions I asked and gave plenty of advice with no pressure at all, I was asked to go home and think about it before making my final decision. It did not take me long and two weeks later I became his proud owner. On picking him up I was given all the paperwork which Keri explained to me in full along with a huge puppy pack containing food,toys etc.

In 2010 I bought a beautiful Maltese dog from Keri Stoner. I would like to take the time to describe the whole experience to any prospective buyer.
I was introduced to the mother after contacting Keri by phone having seen her advert online.
Keri adores her dogs and they live in a fairly mad house as a family.
Her dogs are beautiful and very socialised, PERFECT examples of the breed.
I was made to sterilise my hands before I handled the litter as she is very conscious of bacterial sharing.
I saw my puppy when he was 4 weeks old and paid a deposit, as there was the usual high demand for them, and collected my Royal Oberon at 12 weeks. When buying a puppy you never know really how they will turn out. With Keri's you do. Completely perfect with gentle characters, lovely coats and points, short and cobby dogs.
